This product underwent a number of fire resistance tests employing the general procedures and criteria of BS476 Part 22 and Part 23 Clause 5 (1987), achieving 88 minutes integrity.

About Air Conditioning Unit Cover / Tent

A very lightweight, self-supporting and completely ventilated tent designed to avoid overheating of the air conditioning unit.

Cable entries are fitted at the top of the tent, and it is easily installed by one person in minutes.

No extra support or mechanical screw fixing required.

Giving one-hour fire protection.

For use where recessed fluorescent light fittings are installed above suspended or plasterboard fire rated ceilings to maintain fire integrity.

No extra ceiling supports are necessary, owing to the light weight of the cover.
