Intumescent material with a 1.8mm Birch Plywood facing, to upgrade flat panelled doors to fire-rated doors.

Size - 1500mm x 1500mm sheet

Achieved in excess of 30 minutes of fire resistance on softwood doors made from 31mm stiles and rails, and panels 6mm or thicker.

60 minutes of fire protection can also be achieved.

This intumescent material has been fully tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987) on newly-manufactured and old doors, at UKAS-approved test centres.

Also tested at VNE to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000).

About Intumescent Material with Birch Plywood Facing

The material is faced with 1.8mm birch plywood to be either painted of stained.

Easy to apply.

Can be cut with a sharp knife, adhered to the panels with TCA Thixotropic contact adhesive to provide 30 or 60 minute protection.

Note: Apply Envirograf Stabond Adhesion Primer to the door panels prior to application of thixotropic adhesive.
