Intumescent pads are adhered to the inside of steel, UPVC and PVC electrical trunking where it passes through fire barrier walls or floors, enabling access at all times to the cables.

In a fire, the pads expand, filling the trunking to stop the passage of fire.

For up to three hours protection.

Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of 181 minutes. Also tested at VNE to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000).

Also tested at VNE to European standard En1363-1 (2000) achieving in excess of 150 minutes.

About Intumescent Trunking Pads

Intumescent pads with self adhesive tape backing.

The pads are adhered to the inside of steel, UPVC and PVC electrical trunking where it passes through fire barrier walls or floors, enabling access at all times to the cables.

In a fire, the pads expand, filling the trunking to stop the passage of fire.

For up to three hours protection.

Trunking sizes above 150mm x 50mm, two pads are supplied.
