Envirograf Ventilated Rainscreen Cavity Barrier for free air flow

A 5mm thick foil clad intumescent cavity barrier 1 metre or 2 metres long that is easy to install.

It consists of an intumescent cloth on a galvanised mesh covered with high tensile foil and expands to create a powerful fire and smoke seal.

This cavity barrier range is designed to be fitted horizontally or vertically, expanding to form a complete fire and smoke barrier in a fire.

The barrier is ventilated to allow for free air flow.

About Ventilated Rainscreen Cavity Barrier

The WB Cavity Barrier is a thin flexible foil faced intumescent strip which is fixed in a horizontal or vertical position in a brick or concrete wall and is held in place with by either bracket or washer fixings.

Thermal barrier protection

The barriers are designed to allow insulation material to be installed both above and below the barrier.

High tensile foil protection ensures optimum durability and moisture protection. Flexible mesh structure provides enhanced robust strength and flexibility to the barrier section.

All barriers have a 30mm upstand for screw or nail fixing either vertically or horizontally . It has a powerful intumescent seal that in the event of a fire will expand filling the cavity stopping the spread of fire and smoke.

Options:

Option A - a single row of ventilation holes
Option B - two rows of ventilation holes
