Hard wearing door edging designed to hold a fire and smoke seal. Suitable for door edges at high risk of damage e.g. airports, hospitals, industrial buildings etc.
- Two sizes to suit door thickness 42mm-46mm and 52mm-56mm.
- Fitting is either rebated on new doors or surface-mounted on old or damaged doors.

About Door Protective Trim
A durable plastic trim housing designed to hold a smoke and fire seal to give protection to door edges. Used in areas where risk of damage is high i.e. Hospitals, sheltered housing, care homes, airports, industrial areas and places subject to wheelchair, forklift or small industrial truck traffic.
The trim uniquely includes a rebate for a standard intumescent door seal where required making it suitable for both fire and non-fire protective doors.
The trim also has a flexible section enabling it to be separated into two sections to fit doors from 42-46mm and 52-56mm thickness.
The door protective trim simply slips over the door edge. Peel off the double sided tape backing on the inside edges of the trim.
Place the seal supplied before removing the double sided tape backing, fix to the rebate and finishing with panel pins.
