A versatile 5mm thick mesh reinforced foil clad intumescent cavity barrier that is easy to install. 

The barrier forms a powerful intumescent seal that in the event of will expand filling the cavity stopping the spread of fire and smoke.

Size: length 2000mm

These barriers are flexible to be able to span a cavity with minor differences in depth.

Should you need fixing to face of timber or brick etc. we can make them with a 30mm up stand and washers.

Tested to BE EN1363-1. 1999  achieving 132 minutes.

About Flexible Ventilated Cavity Wall Barrier

The Ventilated Cavity Wall Barrier is a thin flexible foil faced intumescent strip which is fixed in a horizontal position in a brick/block cavity 

High tensile foil protection ensures optimum durability and moisture protection.

A flexible mesh structure provides enhanced robust strength and flexibility to the barrier section.

All barriers have a 25mm upstand for screw or nail fixing either vertically or horizontally to the solid wall or floor slab.

It comprises a powerful intumescent seal that in the event of a fire will expand filling the cavity stopping the spread of fire and smoke.

The strips are ventilated to allow the free flow of air and are available in three options.

Option A - 1 row of 10mm holes 30mm apart

Option B - 2 rows of 10mm holes 30 mm apart

Option C - 3 rows of 10mm holes 30mm apart
