Intumescent material, to upgrade flat panelled doors to fire-rated doors.

Size - width 1220mm and sold by the linear metre.

Achieved in excess of 30 minutes of fire resistance on softwood doors made from 31mm stiles and rails, and panels 6mm or thicker.

60 minutes of fire protection can also be achieved.

This intumescent paper has been fully tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987) on newly-manufactured and old doors at UKAS-approved test centres.

Also tested at VNE to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000).

About Intumescent Material for Manufacturing Panel Doors

Easy to apply. Can be cut with a sharp knife, adhered to the panels with IA water-based adhesive giving 30 or 60 minute protection. It is used, sandwiched between ply by using the adhesive when manufacturing a door.
