Intumescent material with a wood veneer facing, to upgrade flat panelled doors to fire-rated doors.

White Beech and Cherry veneers, please call for availability

Size: 1200mm x 1200mm

Achieved in excess of 30 minutes of fire resistance on softwood doors made from 31mm stiles and rails, and panels 6mm or thicker.

60 minutes of fire protection can also be achieved.

This intumescent material has been fully tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987) on newly-manufactured and old doors at UKAS-approved test centres.

Also tested at VNE to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000).

Description

About Intumescent Material with Wood Veneer Facing

The material is faced with a wood veneer. Easy to apply. Can be cut with a sharp knife, adhered to the panels with IA water-based adhesive giving 30 or 60 minute protection.

Envirograf Stabond Adhesion Primer is applied to the panels before application of adhesive.

Special Note: The Gaboon Ply faced intumescent material needs to be fixed to the panels using Envirograf TCA Thixotropic Adhesive.
