About Surface Mounted Fire and Smoke Seals

Surface mounted intumescent fire & smoke seals available in white, brown, red, black and wood veneer finishes and a alternative plain seal without brush seal to allow smoke detectors to be activated.

No routing is necessary, this seal can be fitted to door frames in minutes.

Requires a 3 mm or greater gap down the closing stile and across the door head. Fitted directly over hinges, no hinge bind and no gap necessary on hinge side. Once fitted the facing of the seal can be painted (The brush smoke seal must not be painted).
