About Envirograf Q/VFR Fire Retardant Paint for Wood

Envirograf Q/VFR fire retardant paints provide the highest possible fire protection to interior woodwork.

Generally only two coats are required, however a protective topseal is recommended for high traffic areas.

Tested and approved by testing bodies, airport authorities and leading retailers throughout the world, Envirograf Q/VFR is used by the building and construction industry, cabinet makers, shop fitting and display joinery manufacturers for public and private installations.

It is available as white only or it can be tinted to any solid, opaque colour including BS4800, BS381C, NCS and RAL colour ranges.

Two coats of Q/VFR Paint at a coverage rate of 10-12m2 per litre must be applied.

You can apply Q/VFR coatings just as you would any other wood finish, using a brush, roller or spray.

Q/VFR products can be applied to all types of interior wood including; bamboo, hardwood, softwood, veneer, MDF, and melamine boards.

NOTE: an adhesion primer may be needed when coating surfaces which have previous coatings of wax, paint or varnish and when coating any resinous timber such as untreated Oak.
