Envirograf EP/CP is a smooth water based Intumescent Coating used for upgrading plasterboard and lath and plaster ceilings to in excess of 1 hour fire protection.
It provides a breathable intumescent layer with a smooth decorative finish.
When attacked by fire, the intumescent material protects the coated area’s integrity and insulation for a period in excess of one hour.
The Fire Resistant Smooth Finish requires a protective top coat, available in any colour and in a matt, eggshell or gloss finish.
It has as been fully tested to BS476: Parts 20, 21 & 22: 1987, BS476: Parts 6 & 7,
EU EN BSI Test to A1-B/S1/d0 of European Standards,
EN13505, EN13823:2002 Single Burn and SBI EN11925:2 2002 Ignitability.

About Envirograf EP/CP Fire Resistant Finish for Plasterboard
EP/CP is a smooth water based Intumescent Coating for upgrading 9mm plasterboard and lath and plaster ceilings to in excess of 1 hour fire protection.
It has as been fully tested to BS476: Parts 20, 21 & 22: 1987, BS476: Parts 6 & 7, EU EN BSI Test to A1-B/S1/d0 of European Standards, EN13505, EN13823:2002 Single Burn and SBI EN11925:2 2002 Ignitability.
It is easy to apply by brush or roller and is quick drying.
Application
Walls and ceilings to be protected should be dry, clean and free from any loose material that might affect the adhesion of EP/CP to the surtface
Remove all wall or ceiling paper.
Repair any surface holes or defects with Envirograf Cement Filler or Intumescent Mastic.
If the surface is highly porous or powdery, apply a single coat of Envirograf EP/CP Primer at a rate 14 m² per litre to seal the surface.
Apply 2 coats of EP/CP at the rate of 8 m² per litre, per coat.
Drying time is 1 hour under normal temperature and humidity.
EP/CP is supplied as white only. For greater durability and to add colour, apply Envirograf EP/CP Acrylic Topcoat, available in a matt finish.
